This song was actually about their bassist at one point who attempted suicide and the lyrics were actually part of the suicide note ... Matt actually found him in time but sadly the bassist in ? Was never the same after 😢

Just came home from work a while ago and you made my evening so much better! You’re the first one to mention the unnecessary “hate/dislike” towards Matt’s voice. I’ve seen reactions & read comments about how they feel like “meh” about Matt’s vocals. I love his unique & lovely voice! A7x was the band that got me into metal over 10 years ago. And it was Matt’s voice that I really loved about this band, the whole band is *amazing* but Matt’s voice sticks out. M.Shadows & Spencer Charnas is my absolute fav metal vocalists! 🫶🏼

As an Avenged Sevenfold fan I’m having quite a hard time with the band recently. The new album has reportedly been pushed back once again and we might not get any new music until next year or late 2022 at the very least. It’s been 6 years since the Stage and although they’ve been very busy with the new podcast, NFT’s (wich I’m not a fan of) I feel like they could have been a little more active with music. The last new song we got was Set Me Free, a discarded song from Hail to The King.
