Oh, don't I know about this. They are evil, wicked individuals. If you happen to live with a daughter like mother to, it can be your worst nightmare.

Thanks Elizabeth. The “normalcy” of life with a narcissist is always on their terms only. They have a God complex.

After discovering his affair, he stonewalled me, refused to acknowledge it and told me that he didn't want to be harassed by me. I was given the silent treatment for months. He told our daughter that I make things up and others that I am an angry and hostile woman among other things. For years after the divorce, these cruel words hurt me. After 35 years together, I now realize the lack of character of this man and have identified his narcissism. We have to learn not to take these attacks personally. Hard to do but a must for our mental health. The truth will come out eventually.

All of this has been my life for the past 8+ years. If only I had been aware of this information early on they might not have continued to be fed by my reactions to Their abuse.

If you think about it, narcissists HAVE to have a victim so it stands to reason that if you leave the situation or somehow avoid or become indifferent, the narc is then forced to find someone new to pick on. THIS is how they get caught because the group that has been deceived can now see a pattern more quickly, which is why it's so important to not get involved in the drama. This is how silence and indifference really does work wonders in unravelling these people and exposing their games

This all rings so true, so accurate. Damn it. I have been victim of a brutal smear campaign including stories about domestic violence and I’m pretty sure sexual assault. It’s absolutely harrowing and there’s nothing I can say or do, nobody believes me, and I can’t walk away because my two beautiful daughters live with her.

💯 fact Elizabeth, been through this smear campaign. Isolating me. However as time goes on, other people will be your friends and they can see the real you which is completely opposite of what the narcissist portrays you to be.

I’m accused of stalking her by her flying monkey while she brings different men in front of me to provocatively dance with them while watching for my discomfort this is despite her stone walling me. Unfortunately for her people are starting to notice her behaviour! This is a problem narcissists in their mid 30s will face with an older crowd that have seen it all before.

So unnecessary when things could have been talked through but they must protect the false self at all costs.
