Dirt Rally Stutter Freeze/Issue

I had the same issues. Strange thing was that I played this for over a year perfectly fine with all the same components, then one day, out of nowhere, the stutter started...actually, it might've followed my upgrade to Windows 10. I tried quite a few things including reinstalling to an NVME SSD; run as admin; rolling back gpu drivers; updating gpu drivers; v-sync off (even tho I have never used v-sync in this or any game); uninstalling and then reinstalling Thrustmaster drivers (TS 300 ffb wheel)... and nothing worked. I then read an Oculus thread citing the cause as leaving the xbox 1 controller plugged in while booting up the game. I unplugged the xbox 1 controller, and also made sure to plug the wheel in to the usb 2.0 port rather than 3.0 port. Im not positive if it was the usb selection or unplugging the xb1 controller that fixed it, but after a frustrating 45 minutes, I am back to ripping pristine skidz all over the virtual spaces.

Great, thanks. Just to mention that this solved the same issue I was having on the G29 with Windows 10. Now, if only I can get the rev lights to work too ....

Hi! Have the problem since yesterday. Did not play that game for about half a year and the stuttering is new to me! Any idea how to solve this???

Hi i have same problem in dirt 4 i have good pc for ultra detail and i have low and stil droping mi fps 60-57
