I got the same bag for king Alfred's way last summer. Was very pleased with it, the ability to leave the outer bag on the bike and take the clean inner bag into the tent worked really well.

Great bag. I've had one for a few years and it's 2-section design has been very useful - as is the bungee cord. Have only used the side 'pockets' for the ends of the straps.

Great review. Helped me in my decision to purchase. Went with the 15L. Worked great for riding the 243 miles on the Katy Trail in 6 days. Held my clothes and sandals just fine. Love, love, love the air release valve on the inner dry bag. The outer bag is water resistant. Even so I sprayed it with camping water repellent spray for extra protection. With the rain shower and misting we encountered, it worked great, water beaded up on the bag and everything was dry inside. Having the extra space in the larger bag was appreciated when I needed to pack my tights and jacket after it warmed up. When not full, I rolled it tight and cinched it down. No problems either way (full or not). Highly recommend. Get one. I think you’ll love it too!

Yes great bag! Bought one over a year ago due to budgeting & bike supply shortages and have to say I was so happily surprised. Great construction, good seams/stitch work at points of stress. The external material is not waterproof, but with the internal drybag it's not an issue. I use Grangers performance repel spray on the external material and it does the job in my wet rainy part of the world. The air valve on the internal drybag is amazing. Wish the bottom taper was a little bigger in diameter, but allows to put extra dirty clothes or other in the bag along with the dry bag. Once cinched up tightly I notice hardly no bag sway even fully loaded using the external cords fully loaded up. Best bike accessory related purchase I had bought in a while. Fully recommend even for shorter riders like myself where tire clearance in an issue.

Looks like a nice bit of kit, I really like the easy access dry bag system. Looking forward to seeing it in action and hope it serves you well.

Very interesting. I had a look at it recently and ended up getting the Giant H2Pro bag. primarily as it was a little larger. As someone who is very familiar with the fabric and their performance your review is pretty spot on. And even if the fabric is rated as "waterproof" the seams are not... if a bag is not seam sealed it will leak regardless of the waterproof material it is made of. Your comment about the lightness of the inner bag is correct. Take care with the bag and take care not to over stuff it as the seam tape can separate from the seam easily and then the inner bag won't be waterproof. For my purposes I like the idea of this one for regular commuting. The only thing that annoys me (and this is an aesthetic rather than functional although I will be interested to hear your thoughts) the outer bag rolls in such a manner that will tend to hold water rather than shedding it, which is likely to get into the inner portion of the bag. By rolling the other way (so the water will drop off the lip of the roll) this ponding is completely avoidable and a better method of closure.

Great bag run one for years in all weathers without issue, the internal bag is great and can really compress down what’s in it using the air valve like a vaccuum

I've got one of these in the same size and it's awesome. No complaints.

separating your wet stuff by putting it between the dry bag and actual bag is pretty genius. Never thought about trying that out.

It may be worth mentioning (or have I missed that?) that the internal dry bag has an air valve. At least mine had. This lets you compress the bag letting all the air out. Once compressed the internal bag is 2/3 of the size of the external portion of the pack. So there's lots of room to add more items.
I would perhaps prefer the internal bag was a little bit larger. But hey. It's a great bag by the look of it. I returned mine and went for an Alpkit system with Exo rail mount.

I purchased a midsize version to hold sleeping bag in the sealed dry bag and than I place rain gear next in bag as easy to get excess yet sleeping bag is kept dry. 0:04

Do you have an idea on how much clearance this bag takes up? I'm a short rider and this bag looks promising for what i'm looking for thanks.
