If a nurse or doctor acted like this, I would strongly suggest a different career, Being a nurse myself this video made me cringe. The stigma, the lack of empathy, the "you'll get over it" and assuming someone's life hasn't been "so bad" based on notes...ALL WRONG!

So similar to a new counselor I was going to see. Yeahhh, triggering as hell.
One of my core triggers is invalidating communication. Ding, ding, ding.
Wow.
I was a nurse and I tried my darndest to LISTEN (and hear the messages behind what was being said too)!!

It’s so vitally important. Communication is complex enough, so much missed…even without all this dismissal, invalidation and MISSING THE BOAT.
