Just looking at the rear photo of this video shows the rust at the top part of the rear door around the rear windows. I suspect that rust would be a big problem with these UAZ buhanka vans especially that they are a design from the mid 1960's. What UAZ could do after the Russo-Ukraine war is over and hopefully sanctions will be lifted is to design a new replacement for the old nearly sixty year old Buhanka van meaning, a new van with a engine that can pass EU emissions laws and a van that would meet the EU safety standards thereby a vehicle that could be then sold world wide, there is market for affordable vehicles if the Russian Federation got its act together ended this war them the US and EU would have to lift their sanctions and the Russian car industry could get to work and design affordable vehicles to sell world wide. The Russian car industry could make more money by selling new affordable cars to the world market instead of these old clunkers from the days of the old soviet union which can be only sold in third world countries, seriously these old soviet era vehicles are passed their use by date even Chinese and Indian cars a way ahead of these old soviet era clunkers.
