Last couple of weeks we've heard more about what is to come with Elite: Dangerous

Ive said iot before. I'm sure:
I realised PP was awful the moment I first took off from a station after pledging and started getting hordes of little NPCs jumping on me.
And that was in Shinrarta Dezhra.

So I basically painted a target on my back for NPC which have no chance defeating me to attack me with impunity in what you'd expect to be the most secure system in the bubble except for Sol and Achenar.

I quit PP immediately and logged off for 24h.

restricting powerplay to open (I don''t care for PP) is fine by me... I would like BGS to be influenced in open mode only too... but I still think this "bring people to open" thing could be achieved with a competent C&P...

Right now the only reason for me to come back to ED is that I'm supposed to borrow the Samsung Odyssey HMD from a friend and I want to see how ED looks on higher resolution VR.
I don't see any new features I'm interested enough in to reinstall for.

ED: the game i have had such high hopes for. Problem is, i have this hope for years now and nothing much new. Still crossing my fingers. Good review/thoughts.
