YB100 ride to the river including off roading !!

Decided to have a ride on the Yamaha YB100 - started as a magical mystery tour and ended up going down to the River Severn. After encountering closed roads at Pilot Bridge I set off to find another swing bridge over the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal which, rightly or wrongly, involved a bit of "off roading" - Itchy Boots "eat yer heart out" !
After an ice cream at Wholly Gelato, I rode along the rural roads to the river wall next to The Anchor Inn at Epney and on to Saul and Frampton-on-Severn.
Then the camera battery died...

Lovely to see the little YB keeping on rocking. So glad you persevered and got it properly fixed. We'll never see the like of these old stink wheels being manufactured ever again, once they're gone, they're gone.

Rob I love the YB films. Thank you for taking me to somewhere I just don't know. I live in the Highlands. I love that the hooligan is still in you. It's normally teenage neds that take their noisy bikes up river paths but its our Rob here, a septuagenarian. A grand wee film.

Love it. the YB always takes me back to my FIZZY days, footpegs in lieu of pedals. Agree with 218 colin re accoustics, but please, DO NOT filter out the YB engine noise, it brings back so many happy memories.

You are funny Rob, not an ounce of pretentiousness and you cheer me up no end.
You no doubt remember, there was a time ( before autolube ) you couldn't coast for any distance on a two stroke because they wouldn't oil and were in danger of seizing.
As for unobservant drivers, my son was T-boned at a crossroads and the police were more concerned with her ( wonder why? ) It was at least driving without due care and attention, but no action followed.

An elderly lady almost took me out today. Looked straight at me and just kept coming out of a side road. I was glued to her bumper for the next few hundred yards until she turned left, and she didn't look in the rear view or wing mirror once. No idea I was there at any time, and still hasn't. Frightening that people like that have a license.

Good to see you out on the YB again, the cyclist who flew past you seemed to be behaving like lots of bikers --being an arsehole. Just back from a week in Crete, 30 degree weather, so finding Scotlandshire a bit cold and wet at the moment, Frampton looks beautiful in the sunshine, and a fair as well, great video Rob, all the Best.
