The Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas is one of the most interesting of the bands of the UK armed forces. Their mainstream music in concert includes great movie scores, while their specialist influences clearly borrow from Scotland and Nepal, and, militarily, also from the light infantry as exemplified these days by their counterparts in the Bugles and Band of the Rifles. I'm very much looking forward to seeing the Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas. In 2022 they are performing another couple of concerts in support of the Gurkha Welfare Trust.
