This new Lowden Guitars F35 Fan Fret Guitar is in AAAA Figured Honduran Mahogany with Alpine Spruce.
Mahogany as a back and sides wood has always been known for its slightly dry tone quality - absolutely ideal for recording and at the same time, great for the stage! Paired with the Alpine Spruce top, the response is exceptionally clear and capable of being played hard - yet it also responds immediately to a light touch. Alpine Spruce offers a very fast response, is very clear and yet warm.
The Lowden F35 Fan Fret guitar offers greater bass response while maintaining the clarity of the trebles - and is much more ergonomic, too. The Fan Fret really shines in dropped tunings!
