This is heartbreaking, inhumane, and inexcusable. ENOUGH. Set them free. They are not puppets for human enjoyment. They are beautiful, living, breathing creatures.

Last time I was there was in 2007 and the animals were treated with care. Alot has changed since then.

Places like that are prisons for animals. You don't see people imprisoning people to do tricks do you?

The owners of Marineland should be ashamed of themselves. It is nothing but gross torture for these beautiful animals. How were they so unlucky to run into you. Everyone needs to spread the word to people to STOP going to these hell holes.

Back in 2012, former employees of Marineland voiced their concerns for the animals, including belugas - only to be sued for millions of dollars by the "family friendly" park.

This is cruel. These whales should be sent to a sanctuary place just for them instead of used as money making machine. People need to stop paying to see these animal shows to save them.

I don't go to aquariums, zoos or any other place exploiting animals. As I read recently: a fun day for me in any of those places, it's a life of misery and imprisonment for the animals in captivity!

Rake marks are in the wild.also whales and dolphins scratch to get rid of dead skin or parasites.

I agree to free the animals, but #3 about Baby Gia didn't tell the whole story. Gia was born with a life threatening mental/physical disorder and has to be isolated to be taken care of. Her disorder wouldn't let her function properly, therefore they didn't want to leave her in with the other whales, even her mother could have unintentionally caused and accident to happen. She was nursed back into a stable state and now resides with the others (INCLUDING HER MOM) MarineLand was actually crucial to her survival from her birth defect. She is now healthy. By the way, don't believe all the crap you read, a lot of this was total crud just so y'all know.

I never thought about them not being in shade in a shallow pool getting sunburned.. That is Marine land in Florida is so cheesy and disgusting.., humans are so mean!!!!
