Try Al Jarreau—many hits. Mornin’, Moonlighting, Boogie Down, Spain, We’re in this love together, Breakin’ Away, Roof Garden……on and on …a true Jazz great!

Also don't forget George Benson, he's got so many hits, but the first time he introduced his vocals resulted in one of the biggest records at that time "This Masquerade"!

Jay & Amber, you'll love his "Just the Two of Us"(ft. Bill Withers), "Inner City Blues" and "Winelight"!!
edit- The last two songs have album and single edit versions. album versions are about 7 and 5 minutes respectively.

Grover Washington Jr. was one of the first jazz musicians that pulled me into the genre. WINELIGHT is one of my all time favorites.

This takes me back to babysitting for a neighbor. They always had jazz playing. I loved it. The first jazz I remember listening to was Dave Brubeck playing Take Five. It was played on the radio. I was 6. It's a classic. Please listen to it. You will love it.

Miles Davis is a HUGE influence in jazz, an American trumpeter, bandleader, and composer. He died in 1991 and one of the most famous song is “So What” (about 9min. composition). Look it up.

THAT WAS GREAT GUYS. Thank you for playing that tonight. This is a first for me. I just closed my eyes and smiled, the whole way through it. Beautiful piece of music played perfectly. 🎸🥁🎺🎷🎹🎼

If you want some great cigar smoking, whiskey drinking, chilling out music, check out Dave Brubeck. The "song "take five" is one of the smoothest songs ever, with some great sax and a killer drum solo. "Blue rondo ala turk" is another good one as well as many others

The live version in Philidelphia with Dr. Gibbs was the best version.

So many talented musicians on this song, including Mr. Bob James, another talent for another day. Great reaction!

Some people called this song an old-school smooth jazz classic!!! This song was Grover Washington Jr's breakthrough r&b crossover hit. The song peaked at the #16 spot on the Billboard Soul chart. And it did peaked at the #54 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart during the summer of 1975. This is no doubt a sure-fire banger song indeed.

For a long time this song was automatically required to be played at every wedding reception, house party and family picnic. Move the tables and chairs so we can dance!
