Looking forward to the food saver video! Before my peach allergy, I would buy a bunch at the end of the season and flash freeze them and then put them in food saver bags for cobbler, sauces, meals, etc during off season.

I use strawberries for smoothies as well, but I don't bother to cut the tops off. Still have to wash them but just throw the whole strawberry in the blender, leaves, stem and all.

I got 3 cases at $4.00 each case from Florida too. 😋 I usually go to a farm locally-owned in June to pick strawberries. I could not pass that sweet deal. I regret not getting another tray. I made Christmas Jam, Chocolate Strawberry Sauce and Strawberry Jam. The rest went into the freezer.
