Ok so here's my honest thoughts.
This looks really good, even if the trailer's editing is a little eh in some spots imo (it's fine, I've worked on trailers before it is HARD to do well). I will say I did find it a little interesting that we started it with Supes in a crater like the one Goku meme, but it worked out in the end and reading into why he did it that way makes sense.
But more importantly, I think James Gunn has gotten the character of Superman nailed. Superman is always going to be the light, and that’s something this version has so far definitely shown. And that’s really great to see since we've been thoroughly lacking in good official Superman stuff since Snyder tried making him all dark and edgy. It's really neat now seeing Superman written by someone who likes and understands Superman.

Minotaur counterattack was truly amazing in the match against the Sawblaze bot. The Minotaur bot is one of the robots with good performance, but Daniel's control skills go beyond the limitations of the robot's design.

Battlebots shouldn't come back until they replace Chris on commentary, severely limit spinners and the amount allowed in competition, and get rid of the rich, elitist plague that infests the sport.
