Interestingly, ‘demure’ contrasts sharply with the 'brat summer' trend, which embraces bold and rebellious vibes. While 'brat summer' is all about being brash and unapologetic, ‘demure’ is all about following norms and staying classy.

As Charli XCX describes 'brat summer,' it’s the exact opposite of the reserved and rule-following 'demure' aesthetic.
