The director of the reserve Viktor Nepomnyashchy told TASS about this.
"The house has been built. But so far she has not moved into it," Nepomniachtchi said.
Earlier, the director of the reserve told TASS that Lykova sent a letter to the businessman
Oleg Deripaska with a request to help build a new house.
The old hut was in poor condition.
In turn, the businessman's representative stated that Deripaska agreed to help the hermit.
In December, construction began on a new hut for the hermit.
Agafya Lykova is the only surviving representative of the Old Believer family,
found by geologists in 1978 in the Western Sayan Mountains.
She lives in the taiga alone, from time to time volunteers stay with her.
The Lykov family lived in isolation since 1937, hermits tried to protect themselves from the influence of the external environment,
especially with regard to faith.
At the time of discovery of taiga inhabitants by geologists, there were five:
the head of the family Karp Lykov, sons Savvin and Dimitri, daughters Natalia and Agafya.
In 1981, three of the children died, and in 1988, the Lykovs' father.
The zaimka became a part of the Khakassky reserve in May 2001.
