Wild horses on Ainos, Kefalonia

The horses are usually around the reservoir near Zoodochos Pigi monastery. Coordinates: 38°06'24.1"N 20°43'02.1"E

We were there around 3pm and went with car up until the reservoir.

I STRONGLY suggest you not to go there with car, because the gravel road is a disaster (or go with a 4x4). Trust me, it is really that bad. It trashed my tires and scratched the bottom of the car. Park in Arginia where the asphalt road ends and proceed on foot (~1 hour walking distance).
