You may have all the prestige of saying you work for a FAANG company, but what is it you really do? Due to the large number of engineers that work for big tech companies, the scope of your work will be much more limited compared to what you would work on at a startup. You’ll rarely get to work on a project from start to finish and see your ideas implemented at the scale you would at a startup.
