Born and raised in Northern British Columbia and can still say that it's the most beautiful place I've ever been

I like how you leaned on "where I was BORN" so that the comments don't become a whole "why did you move there?" festival.

Love your videos.

Hello, i live in rural outback Australia and we live a very self sufficient lifestyle, if we don't go and pump water, we don't have water, if we don't go fishing/hunting we don't have food.

We have such a close community that all cares for one another. My children are their children and their children are mine.

Seeing how you live similarly to me, but just opposite ends of the temperature scale makes me realise how lucky we are to experience this life. ❤

I was born and raised in a tropical country, so places like these have always fascinated me.

I lived in Alaska for a few years. There is nothing like the North. It's beautiful! Thank you for sharing with us!

I grew up in Northeast Asia where it was average -35 to -40 Celsius also, waiting for the buses in the morning to go to school was a lot of pain and we only got days off when it was -50 ish

I would love this...but, for my medical needs.
I can live vicariously through you.

When I was in college, I got a summer internship in Kenai Alaska. During part of the trip to Alaska, I drove through the Yukon. This was in May, and all the flowers were coming into bloom. It was so beautiful! I kept pulling over to take pictures so much that I was almost late to my hotel in Tok!!

Hi from Anchorage Alaska! It is 34 degrees below freezing today, and when I went for a walk, my eyelashes froze to my hat! I definitely know the feeling. 😂🥶

Being canadian is something truly magical as many of our areas are still raw untapped wilderness and it's great!

I don’t know why but there’s no place in North America I want to visit EXCEPT for the Yukon Territory… I grew up in Switzerland but I always thought that the view here is overrated. Yukon on the other hand is so fracking pretty!

Wish I could move to Yukon. Met so many from Yukon going to Uni in Edmonton and they all seemed so content having been raised there. Here in Toronto, we have nearly zero winter anymore. There's no place like the North. Hope to visit someday.

There’s just something about being a northern person. My great grandparents were from the Orkney Islands and I grew up in Maine. The beauty is worth the cold every time!

I lived in Finland for a few years... cold places have a spectacular beauty and come with many adventures and experiences you cannot get anywhere else. It can be a wonderful life if you have the spirit for it.

Proud life long resident of the Northern Rockies and the BC Peace Country along the Alaska Highway. I started my life in Fort Nelson and will always call the North home. Every day at -40 is a blessing and I love it!
