Thank you soooo very much for the amazing work and the wonderful quality and clarity of your content! You’re one of the very few natural born teachers. Please, keep enlightening some of us engaged in this path towards mastering the art of photography a lesson at a time. Thank you!

For the cactus pic, did you also exposure blend due to the high dynamic range of the scene? To do that, would you take the 10 focus points at 1 exposure, then retake the infinity focus at a second exposure, and mask out the sky?

Great video, Mike. I've used Helicon Focus in the past, but seeing how easy it is in PS it looks like I'll be dumping Helicon Focus into the trash bin. :)

Great quickie one😁. Beautiful shots by the way. Can you make (or maybe you already did) video about Z6 focus stacking settings, how to do it, etc. Keep safe both of you!

Thank you for the tutorial, I have to practice more focus stacking, it doesn't always work for me. Stay safe and “Go Marlins”. Hahaha.

What auto focus setting do you use ? Sony has flexible spot in small, medium and large .... I feel like I still get blurry spots even tho I take 6 or more shots ... thanks Mike! Love the channel!

Nice dude! Yeah I failed my focus stack attempt from our lake bed shots 😂 additional tip based on my mistake - the focal plane shrinks at longer focal lengths so you def need a lot of points when doing standard/telephoto landscapes

Great quick tutorial Mike! I use focus stacking often but this was presented in a very easy to understand way for someone who might be trying to learn it. Fantastic job!

Hey Mike, when you use more focus points (say 10) for focus stacking an image do you also decrease the f-stop for each shot or do you keep it up at 11 to 16? great tutorial 👍👍 A built in focus stacking feature, that must save some time!

This was awesome! I have a bunch of images that are just waiting for me to learn this. Going to try it out today! Do you ever stack these manually? I have some images that have some Wind movement so I’m not sure how to make these stack up correctly. Maybe I’ll leave those till I have a little more experience:)

I am a new subscriber. I notice you use Lightroom Classic rather than Lightroom CC. What are the reasons?

Good Friday tutorial....I was curious, do you leave everything the same and then just readjust the focus to the next spot and so on and so on?...or do you raise up your camera lens for every photo you want to focus on?...and you leave everything the same?..i.e. f stop, shutter thanks for another great video....
