Kyiv : 5km Walk to see BRUTALSIM in UKRAINE🇺🇦 Kiev

Показать описание
On a sunny sunday end November I walked from Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi Railway Station that was built between 1867-1870 about 5 km by foot to see the botanical garden, Chreschtschatyk Street, Maidan square, Ukraine Hotel, the Liebermann Villa, where I met some cats (in the video I say its from Max Liebermann, the jewish artist from Berlin, but thats not correct. It belonged to a sugar baron Simcha Liebermann) and the Anna Statue in the Marinsky Park. All, because I wanted to see the Hotel Salute (Salyut), which is a masterpiece of brutalistic architecture! I like this kind of architectural Brutalism, only this one, the other kind of brutalism I hate... one of the most famous hotels in Kiev!
The Salute Hotel was constructed by architect Abraham Miletsky, designed: 1976-1982 and built: 1982-1984 . Thanks to to it's unusual architectural concept, the building of hotel became one of the most unusual structures of the era which left. Pure Brutalism! ;-)
