starstruck is that movie where, even after all these years and the fact that i'm in my late 20s now, i still enjoy it! like, obviously there are some corny bits to me now but strangely enough, at the core of it i still enjoy the plot and the romance. jessica and christopher both learned a lot from each other within the span of 2 days (i think it's 2 days?), versus grown ass adults irl who still scratch their heads about the most simplest of things lmao (aka apologizing when you've done wrong like christopher, learning to not make snap judgments about strangers like jessica, etc). and the music still hits just as well as it did before! not to mention there are speeches that really touch on how shitty paparazzi are and how it seriously is difficult for celebs to date "normal" people, in fear that their partner will be catapulted into public chaos. yes, the wattpad vibes go hard but oh well haha. this is def a go-to comfort d-com movie, when i'm in the mood to watch one!
