Olympus Pretends EM1 III is a NEW Camera. Tony 4 Zoom Lens as a Joke

Olympus EM1 III out here pretending it's a new camera. It's basically a firmware update to the EM1 II, and a shrunken EM1 X. But at least they announced a Tony 4 zoom lens. The most needed lens of our time.

Olympus EM1 III is $2400 in Canada lol. I could get a Canon EOS R for $2150. You're insane Olympus. My thoughts on the Canon R5 coming soon :)

Actually, they fixed the big "bug" for vloggers. It has proper Auto ISO in manual video mode. You don't know it yet, but that's it. Olympus created the perfect vlogging camera! :)

Olympus cameras are the only cameras that meet all of your criteria of great auto focus (the achilles heel of Panasonic), great stabilization, great lenses, small form factor and good image quality and none of the flaws like rolling shutter or lack of battery life that cripple other cameras like the Sony's. They are basically the perfect workhorse vlogging cameras (em5 mark 3, em 1 mark 2 and mark 3, etc). It seems like you are unfairly critical of them. Disclaimer, I am a M43 fanboy to be fair but full frame is definitely not the answer, cameras and lenses are just too big for a small increase in image quality. And I've vlogged outside for 3 years on several channels and never used go pro type cameras. It's got to be either APSC or M43.

Both Olympus EM1 III and Nikon D6 pretends to be an upgrade camera. They refuse to replace their tiny sensors, they should collaborate to combine those sensors and make the Double full frame camera with 0.5x crop. You should be able to vlog your whole body with it and gives you invisible background. That could be your perfect camera for sure!

E-M1 III now has auto ISO in manual video mode and they should update the firmware to the E-M5 III to have that feature also.
