Meeting Adam Driver @ Burn This 5.17.19

Met the incomparable and gracious Adam Driver after attending his play Burn This at the Hudson Theater on Fri May 17, 2019. He was kind enough to sign playbills and posters for the hundreds of fans waiting outside the stage door after the 8 pm show. That's me and my daughter you see immediately to your right. A kind person next to us videoed for me and I videoed for her.

It’s so refreshing to see someone famous be so friendly. I know it can’t be easy to have strangers clamoring for your attention, but some celebrities are awful about it too. I am a huge fan of Juanes, and he has proven time and again (personally) that he truly appreciates his fans. Celebrities aren’t role models just because they’re famous, but when they are amazing human beings they absolutely are promoted to role model status.
