In this video, I show you how to fake a limp. This is a great tactic for someone that is pretending to have a leg injury. One crucial tip that I can give you is to not forget which leg is supposed to be injured. I sometimes see people faking a limp and unintentionally switching the injured leg.

"I need to stretch my leg... cause it's injured... so I'm limping"😂 sooo convincing

Entertaining but it looked fake to me
Seemed to be jumping onto the "injured" leg. I tend to put my weight on my injured leg gradually and take the weight off as quick as possible.

My bother is currently faking a leg injury he walks fine when nobody's watching(so he thinks) but when people are around he does this over dramatic limp and looks at people to see if they are reacting. It's very annoying. I will try to get a video to post it cause he's really going overboard with it.

Oh my gosh I can’t believe I found this video! You just have no idea how much I needed this! Yesterday while I was in my acting class the couch told us to walk like someone who’s injured her leg I thought it was going to be easy but once I tried it I just didn’t know how I actually should do it~ I have seen people walking like that and I once also injured my leg but maybe I haven’t ever paid attention to it that much before.. I really wanted to look at someone who’s injured his leg while walking~ appreciate it the most!

I searched “How to make it look like you’re not limping”, and this comes up. I have sprained my foot, have a soft tissue injury and I don’t want people to see me limping. What if my Mum and Dad looked through my watch history!

Currently watching this 30 minutes before work because I told them I hurt my ankle and got 2 days off of work, literally don’t know why I used an actually injury instead of food poisoning as an excuse

I actually have pain in my right leg and search this tutorial to see how to walk feeling less pain, and It actually helped cause I was spending more time standing on my injured leg and moving forward with my healthy leg. Thanks very much it's way less painful to walk now 😅

A good reason to deliberately limp is to maintain fitness while injured or experience the benefits of single-leg cardio. I wouldn't recommend pretending as it's wrong.

When doing single-leg cardio, the exercising leg gets more blood flow because the heart can only pump so much. It simulates running on tired legs which is like doing long runs but at a shorter distance.

What I do is prioritize the form of my propelling leg just like one would do if they have a prosthetic leg, making sure to avoid excessive swaying or bouncing and balancing properly. I also lift my non-propelling leg. The limping isn't so obvious. If you pay attention, there will be more impact on the exercising leg.

As someone who had way too many sprang ankles that’s not how limping looks
You don’t jump or leap your supposed to look a little unbalanced on a limp
