Wife bought me one for my birthday last year. She knew that I've been wanting to get back into the hobby. After the first couple runs, I made the decision to build it similar to a racer rather than a basher. It's been a slow, but fun, process for me. This truggy is amazing and hangs with best of 'em. After letting a few of my buddies test drive it, I'm confident that my driving skills are what need improvement now.
I think Traxxas should come back to the race scene and produce a race kit. This is an amazing truggy but could use an official Traxxas racing development team to produce a pure race kit version of it.
Thank you for creating such an awesome truck, even if it is more of a basher out of the box, it still has a lot of potential to easily be built into a racer.

Ok love this look ! I want one ! Just bought a hoss couple weeks ago. Was torn between this or hoss. I truly think I wish I would got the rustler Vxl 4x4 . Or maybe I need just get used to hoss only ran couple batteries so far . Rustler seems more stable . I do enjoy the hoss though, just wish these 2 came with gtr shocks out of the box. Thanks traxxas for making amazing products .
