Yep, a true classic recipe. I like that you're not afraid of jarred garlic and you added a bit more than I do. To me garlic in a jar is perfect because it's not as strong as fresh and does not burn as quickly. I'll have to throw in 3-5x as much garlic as I normally do now. This recipe also works perfectly for lobster tails, shelled mussels and oysters as well as clams.

My grandma taught me how to make this back in like '93-'94. This has always been a big comfort meal for her. Sometimes with noodles also tossed in the sauce. I still make it for her to this day. Thank you for sharing.

if you use a LOT of red pepper flakes it comes out sooo spicy but actually kinda sweet at the same time. if you like spice try ittt. my ex made it on accident when the red pepper flakes dumped out one time and it was fantastic with pasta.
