While I generally agree with Sam Harris on most of what he talks about, and my moral beliefs are much more aligned with him than they used to be, I find his _foundation_ for morality to be a bit wanting.

Nonetheless, I think most of Sam's philosophical problems can be remedied with a simple rephrasing.

How can anyone make decisions or arguments on the grounds of morality if they don’t believe in God?

If God doesn’t exist than neither does morality. It would just simply be a concept of the human imagination and have no objective or absolute truth.

Therefore, what is “right” or “wrong” is absolutely subjective to one’s own perspective and there’s no absolutes to judge right and wrong by.

"Moral spectrum" is logically incorrect. A spectrum is the opinions of right and wrong based on the conditions. Morals, objective morality, doesn't work that way.
