This is a Williams Police Force Pinball machine from the year 1989. This machine was originally made to be Batman. There was a Batman film coming out the same year, and this machine wanted to capitalize on that. However, the licensing was lost to another company. So Williams had to quickly change the theme. They changed it to this funny furry police theme, which personally I think they did a really good job re-theming this considering that they had to start from scratch. There are a few clues that this was Batman, one the batmobile which was turned into a police car, the Batcave which became the City Jail, and 'Batman' spelled in the center of the field, which was change to 'police'. It is a quite nice addition to the collection considering how quirky everything about it is.

Say you're 80s without saying you're 80s... This thing just screams 80s, I love it

Williams really went overboard with the flashing lights in this era.
