It really does depend on where you are in the world. Here in the U.K. virtually all of the U.S. coins are in the "meh" category whereas sovereigns are "not to shabby" except for proofs which most definitely end up in the "money" - some low mintage years command extreme premiums for perfect PF70 examples.

You forgot to rank the Canada Special Forces gold coin, I'd personally place them up in the money category.

Great video. Where would you put the Panda, Noah’s arch and Canadian wildlife gold coins?

You can add the Chinese Pandas Gold coins with different designs each year as well, and the older ones do command a high premium though especially in the 90s.

The Mexican vente is like a gold work of art...what I would give for a time machine (not just to get a bunch) but watch them create that coin way back in 1917,

Howdy. What years did they make Gold Eagles with the Roman numerals? And, did they make both roman and modern numbers coinage in the same year? Thanks for the great content bud

Buying metals is cool to have as a alternative investment but you will never make serious money on this as a investment even if you bought at a low price and sold at a high price years into the future you'd never make serious money on this. If you bought gold and held for 20 years on average you'd likely only make a small gain if anything after adjusting for inflation. But with the stock market you'd average 8% yearly compounded and historically after adjusting for inflation in 1970 the Dow Jones was $700 and today its $35, 550 and adjusting for inflation from 1970 you'd have a 650% return
