Most likely the 2024 Morgan and Peace coins will be sold on the secondary market for less than what the US Mint sold them for originally

At my age in my stacking journey I would be stupid to buy such expensive coins and ever expect to get any of that money beyond spot price back when I go to sell them in my retirement. You would have to hang on to those coins for probably 2 or 3 decades, if ever, to ever see that premium on the back end. Mainly as I am a bullion collector and not a numismatic coin collector. To each their own just keep on stacking what you like.

Interesting about the dealer numbers still going up and the theory that they bought it at the old price and helps build in a profit margin regular collector can't get.

Looks like the sweet spot might be around 200-225K. Wonder if the mint will adjust accordingly in coming years?

Advance rel cost $95 per coin. No discount but just a bit higher.
We bought under 1000 sets.

They have some more, I just sent back 2 2024 Morgans because 1 was a real rattler, $90 for .8 oz of $30 silver and dull looking coin, I kept the 2 peace dollars because they looked better in this finish.

They send them off too get them graded and proof 70 wit advance release ohh they got this funhouse thing going now it the 24 pease and morgan it will be funhouse getting sold for 199 a coin

I am around 40 and I am doubting I will be around to see any worthwhile profits from these coins at such a high price. That even assuming I live to a ripe old age of 90+. You would be smarter to put that money into regular silver coins at or near spot unless you just really like wasting money or do not already have a set of newer morgan and peace. I got the 2023 and if I get anything 2024 I might grab a reverse proof set... maybe.

I bet they lowered the price of the 40 coin bulk package so the coins would sell. Now, the dealers can jack the prices up and make even more money. The Mint could care less about us collectors. It's all about the dealers. This is just another reason to stop buying from the crooked US MINT. Mike Mezake retired from CSN. It makes me wonder if he is working for the US MINT now. 🤔

When the US Mint raised their price, I lowered my subscription to zero for everything. Except for the uncirculated mint sets.

I passed on the uncirculated Morgan and Peace after the price increase. Then I was surprised to find I had subscribed to 1 each when I saw my credit card charge. Oh well. Nice packages and coins .

The only purchase that I will probably make from the mint in 2024 will be the flowing hair gold coin. I hope it doesn't have finning like my 2023 american liberty gold coin.
