I remember seeing her perform this live, and it was the first time I'd ever heard it. Tonight, I was flipping through some Cyndi Lauper, and the song "All Through the Night" reminded me of it, but I could only remember the first line. I was determined, though, and finally it came to me. Jewel! It was just a guess, but hot dang, it was a good one. One of the best, if not THE best song she's ever sung. Still absolutely amazing in 2025. I think I'll run that back a few times.
