Diane & Paul Cotter | WHY WE FIGHT | Dark Waters

Diane is a vocal activist for firefighter cancer initiatives. Her husband Paul, a former Lt. in the Worcester fire department, was diagnosed with cancer and was forced to retire from the service. Together, they fight to elevate the issue that plagues firefighters even more than the extraordinary danger they face in their jobs: cancer from PFAS exposure in their turnout gear. Diane recently worked with Graham Peasley to raise awareness to this issue and tell her story.
