Ported Box Build for 2-12” Skar Audio SDR/D4

Had a customer with some subs, I’ve wanted to build a box, for a while now. Inexpensive, well built and a “phat” surround 😍😍😍 Customer has a white Dodge Challenger, so I decided to incorporate that in the box. Enjoy....👌🏾

Someone who actually has woodworking knowledge that builds boxes! Even uses sawdust wood glue paste to finish screw holes edges etc.. this is how it’s done people..

I love box building. The trick is to plan and measure many times and then take your time. Doesnt hurt to have all the right tools...

A good trick for painting MDF:
50% Elmer's white glue, 50% water. Mix it up, then use chip brush to spread on wood to seal. Now it can be painted without wood absorbing the paint. Fantastic work, BTW!

Never seen the glue and sawdust trick. Hell of a lot cheaper than filler or spackle. Nice as always 💪🏾
