I'm always blown away by the fact that this song came from a children's cartoon. I never even saw The Raccoons as a kid.

Most cartoon themes have catchy melodies and hooks that kids can remember, and this song has both, but it also has a certain melancholia to it that'll always stay with me. I'd like to believe that it's just not nostalgia, but actually a really goddamn memorable tune. However, I grew up with this, so I can't really say.

God I miss Saturday morning cartoons with raccoons, jayce and the wheeled warriors and all the other classic intros with amazing music!

Always had a soft spot for lisa and the raccoons was great... I may have to see if i can find it somewhere and watch it again now as an adult
