'The number of cars have doubled in the past 10 years clogging up our roads. The question is, what can we do about it? How can we solve the ever increasing traffic & pollution problem paralysing cities and countries? What if we can eliminate the need for personal car ownership?'

Mobility specialist Hubert Hays-Narbonne suggests a way forward and shares how a cutting edge concept of Mobility as a Service (MaaS) could be a solution, taking advantage of the disruptive dynamics in mobility to streamline global transportation advancements.

This damn well become possible with cash too, in the form of buying some prepaid card or something. Anonymity can NOT be a thing of the past!!!! A car or a motorcycle is anonymous and not tracked, unless recorded (and identified) by cameras by the road.

And no; mobile should not be the only way to pay for public transportation; putting all of your eggs in one basket is usually a bad idea.

Not everything needs to be a service.

There are greedy game companies attempting to go with "video games are not the backbone of a gaming system; only a service" nonsense.

The only time I would ever give up the freedom of having my own car is if it literally became illegal to drive.
