One of the lyrics say something about hiding someone's ring and Ariana never hid her ring did she? She told us when she got engaged and married. I think that the song After Hours is about how he wasted his time with someone who broke his heart and that could be either Arianna or Selena. The Weeknd is just toxic and emotionally unavailable so he always chases what he can't have be it exes, married women etc. But once he has them he gets bored and he's back to the streets. He even explains this in the song Sacrifice where he says thag love is not enough for him because he wants his freedom
