Pro Tip - Slowly spin the cup when putting it in the holder when there's high tension on the clips. It slides in a lot easier.

For the wipers, you press the button at the end of the right control for auto (green light will light up). The +/- scroll changes how often it wipes in auto.

Thanks guys, because of your great review I bought this JCW for my wife and she really likes it. We both find it peppy and fairly good handling with good brakes for a small SUV. If it only had a manual transmission it would be so much more fun. Quality of materials and fit and finish is typical BMW. The gas mileage has been excellent. It amazes me that 301 horsepower can be had from a 2 liter turbo and these numbers were unheard of only 10 years ago for a road car in Canada. Keep up the great work and wonderful reviews.

One thing that I'd love to see that I think would be beneficial would be, when you list the horsepower and torque numbers for a given vehicle, to also provide the weight. Power numbers on their own don't tell the full story. The power-to-weight ratio paints a more complete picture of a vehicle's potential performance.

Listen I had the 2019 countryman S all 4 and it was an amazing rush on the summer streets, and also a powerhouse in the snow. The look on muscle car owners when you outperform them is cute 😂 I can’t WAIT to see how this bad boy handles

There's a button on the wipers stock, that you have to press to activate Automatic Wipers. And you adjust how fast it engages by regulating this rotating knob on the front. That's how it works in my Countryman :)

My 2012 S Countryman ALL4 also has the same lag from a stop, I believe from what I've read on forums is that it's the AWD system taking one extra second from a stop (not including launch control) to decide where to send power to get you moving, not to mention the added weight

I got three Minis, Cooper S, Paceman S ALL4 and a convertible. I soooo wish they would build a Cooper S with ALL4 and 300 HP it would be a riot. Great review guys as always, proud your from Canada!!!

Should have reviewed the JCW Clubman instead, same drivetrain in a lower, sleeker, faster mini wagon package. Plus it's even quirkier with the double rear doors.
