Then why the weekly sermons on how to live better, the endless bible studies on what people did, the good, the bad, the consequences, etc. You don't understand how any of this works.
And I suspect that you see the religions that do base acceptance with God based on our behaviour as just means of controlling their followers. And they often are.

Who is more likely to be extreme, the one who has to prove him/herself to him/herself and to God, or the one who knows they are accepted as they are, but not to remain as they are? What if we are talking about the analogous case of a child and their parents?

This is incorrect for Christians, we are saved or forgiven by the blood of Jesus but being forgiven does not mean without consequence. We are here to praise and worship God in living for Him we earn crowns in heaven.
Jesus says in Matthew 7v22
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’
23 “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

What? I'm a Christian and this is some next level BS. You will be held accountable for your life. If you brake commandments or sin a lot and don't repent for it or try to make situation better - you will go to hell. That's like one of the core beliefs in Christianity. If Baptism made you immune from going to no, it would make no sense.
Sadly religious extremists in every Abrahamic religion at least say the same thing.
"If you're a believer (and follow us - the unspoken part) you will be in paradise".
And it's also BS about non-believers. That depends more on which denomination you follow, but it is generally agreed that at the very least people from Abrahamic religions can go to heaven. And that good people who aren't believers also can go there. Otherwise life wouldn't make any sense from Theological perspective.

God is not imputing sin. Jesus died for your sins. Faith is the measure. No man is without sin, so if sin was the measure, no man would be saved. Makes perfect sense, and just so happens to be what is written.
