What an impressive and beautiful bridge! The know-how to make a stone bridge is absolutely awesome!
I wish we, as a culture, had more, or some, stone bridges here! I don't remember when I last came across one! A sturdy and well built stone bridge stands in place, speaking for the culture that built it well so the people would be safe, and remains an icon to the professional people who reside here. It is a standard of beauty to all who use the bridge in passing!

I really like the Raised Mud Joints. Rather than "pointing" or "raking" the joints, this mason (craftsman) creates a protruding mud joint and squares it off. It appears to be more work but has a nice visual effect.
