Unboxing the HoverAir X1 ProMax 8k Drone

It's finally here, the all new 8K HoverAir X1 PROMAX. This autonomous drone can do a bunch of quick shots without the need of a remote control. And if you wanted more control of the drone, HoverAir is releasing a new Beacon and Remote combo. This gives the pilot more control and options with the remote control and mobile phone screen.

God knows I love DJI, but it's nice DJI have competition, I think it's needed. I wish Autel would get their act together and drop something sensible for the everyday consumer.

hey! Looking forward to getting one. I have the X1 so I’m already a fan! Have the Avata 2 so am not at all interested in the Neo. (It’s copied for much of the X1 anyway!) While DJI has been great to me, too many of the Neo is takeoffs of the X1… (So not very original) Soon as it’s openly available in the USA I’m going to get one to augment my already fun, and PAID forward X1!🇺🇸

This is the 3rd video review I have seen which only come with one spare battery and the battery in the drone itself. In the Indiegogo, it was supposed to be 3 batteries in total (2 spare and 1 in drone). Time to write to them, not sure if they are aware of the shipment inclusion!

Great review. Just worried about the delivery if it's got Hover all over the box . Was that name visible or was it wrapped in another paper around the box ?

Ya should look in the split bag, pretty sure there will be ND filters + mounts for the Beacon.

Did you get the Ski Combo or did you go for the cycling combo and bought the additional accessories separately? Just wondering as I’ve watched a couple unboxings now of people who have received the Ski Combo but they’ve only received 2 standard batteries and not the 2 thermal batteries and one standard battery as advertised. 👍🏻

Hi, when the drone starts up, the audio mode prompts are quite loud. Is there a way of adjusting the volume or turning them off completely? Thank you

Can you clarify if you chose the skiing combo? It is suppose to come with 2 extra thermal batteries and nd filters. If you were suppose to get them, please contact the company and let us know how it goes, because it is concerning to others that have chose the skiing combo.

I am getting that same Max combo. A lot of frustrated people waiting on theirs on Facebook groups. And I want to go to from San Diego to Yosemite next week. Any way you could make a deal to trade yours, and then you pick up my delivery?....
