As someone who plays OW2 from time to time with friends its not an issue with me but I am disappointed about PvE. And the fact that it took them almost 5years to tell us was very scummy.

It definitely sucks ass, I love the universe and any opportunity for pure cooperative play, so I was looking forward to some deep PVE to sink into.
But I definitely would NOT want to go back to OW1. Suffering through double shield meta is way worse than any feelings of disappointment or FOMO urges.

See I'm weirdly lucky when it comes to overwatch, I didn't start playing till like September of 2021 and played till the end of ow 1. I am disappointed but not as much as the people who have been waiting since 2019. I still have some hope for the game but rn I'm just kind of done with it because ranked is terrible, qp is sweaty and qp role queue times are garbage with friends. I don't see why the decision couldn't have been
"Oh hey you want get skill tree and etc as of the launch but they will get added later on" but yeah at this point blizzard doesn't care
Edit: if I could have one thing from ow 1 back its be old doom. I don't think tank doom is bad the fact he got a one punch man skin and can't even one tap with it is the most ironic thing
