To me the real artistry is how well the singer enters and exits a phrase...Mr. Chomorro is an amazing teacher and Ms. Motis is every teacher's dream.

Ouch! That broke my heart from almost the first note. Andrea sings that song deeply from the heart. And Joan's orchestral arrangement carries the whole thing off. I have to admit to my own heart crying out that "Lover Man " is right herel

I've been gushing about Andrea's talents every chance I get, but I must say I'm also so impressed with how Joan Chamorro has arranged for her to perform in such a wide variety of venues - from jazz clubs to concert halls, with swing bands, orchestras, small groups, etc. It's astounding what a well-rounded background and experience he has given her and many of his other students in just a few years. She's a poised and polished veteran at the tender age of 24.

Very delicate arrangement and performance - the strings fit in perfectly! I love to see Eva and Iscle in retrospect - they were a perfect musical match in many "small combo" settings, now with clarinets for a change!
