It honestly took me awhile to realize that sound at the beginning is the scream of Slaanesh being birthed into existence. It’s like a mix of a scream of orgasm and agony. It’s fucking terrifying.

The birth scream of Slaanesh at the beginning is just really well placed.

Another reason Slaanesh is so powerful is that she ate most of the elder god's, leaving only Isha in Nurgles hands and Cegorach in the webway. (And Khaine in broken pieces)

The Dark Eldar seem a lot more pragmatic than I initially believed them to be, in comparison to the Craftworld Eldar. One relies on an easily obtainable resource to sustain them that can be gathered in mass from any number of unsuspecting Imperial worlds and the other needs to launch doomed raids into the realms of chaos to mine precious ores.
