Not that I think that Colin is wrong about the upside of having an offensive head coach. But I think he's starting to beat a dead horse. You can't reduce every win down to having an offensive coach. There are other factors that play into it. He is sometimes guilty of crafting his message to suit his already pre-determined narrative. Like not giving Love credit for his excellent play today.

Im a 49ers fan, but come on. Pickett was facing Bosa, Armstead, and Hargrave on that D line and now Jackson is coming along. And that says nothing of Huff, Dre, and Fred Warner.

Purdy is the first QB in NFL HISTORY to win his first six regular season starts and throw for 2 TD's in each game. He's also the first QB to ever had over a 95 passer rating in his first regular season starts. At some point you have to acknowledge elite play when you see it.

Purdy is so much more than the system. When is the last time Kyle looked this calm while calling plays, with another QB? NEVER!

the Chiefs or the Chargers win games its because the QB's are so talented and make others better. But if Miami or SF wins its because the coaches are so great. I will agree that some coaches are better than others. But players still have to play and execute. And as much as you shit on Tua, just keep in mind that from the 7 he threw a goal line fade to a 5"10" receiver PERFECTLY for the go ahead/winning score. I dont know anyone that talks out of both sides of their head more than this guy
