I heard this song from “banjo el mismo cielo “ and when I tell you that novela made me cry some times, mostly because of Carlos and how hard he struggled for his kids and to remain a good, fair man in spite of all of his challenges. Every time rodrigo and even, to some degree Luis ridiculed him or were ashamed of him it hurt my heart. and this song here makes me cry out of the hope that it’s being sung with, the willingness to strive forward, and while we are here in the us and find our home shit sometimes, there are people that still find hope in it. I love this song so much because I just think of all those people that actually relate to it.
I am American but first generation, mixed Mexican-Salvadoran.
I love my Latinos and their willingness to work with nothing and strive.

I Remember watching under the same sky when my son was just a year old I had to turn the volume very low when this music was playing because he wakes up when he hears it if he was asleep and he turns and watch when he was awake, he is now six....it's a beautiful song I guess he liked it just like I did🤘🤘👌👌
