Producer Paul Hardcastle’s music from earlier days is evident of how he earned that title when you listen to The Wizard; his Journey to a Different State of Mind and Rare Groove album(s) and the 19 compilations. Then there’s Rainforest: the popular jazzy electro-funk tune that’s stands out on its own, and, hit the dance and R&B charts like a gangbuster in the mid-80s. FYI Rainforest was released as a single and album. The album was nominated for best R&B Instrumental Performance at the 28th Annual Grammy Awards. Its popularity within music media is still heralded today. To continue the Rainforest journey with his fans, Paul introduces RAINFOREST 40, a reproduction of the original.
