When you don't prosecute misdemeanors, they turn into felonies. It's common sense.

I attended this year’s Brooklyn Law School graduation. The guest speaker was the Brooklyn DA. He said “The goal of my administration it to reduce the number of incarcerations.”. Seriously?!? Your goal is not to reduce crime?

Why are they blurring out the actual people stealing? Are they trying to protect the identity of the thieves?

And they blur the thieves faces?? Let's further protect these criminals while steadily destroying our country. Insane.

I live in Hawaii. Car stolen, retrieved from thief’s house, no prosecution. Attacked by two men half my age, windshield busted, face bloodied, thrown to the ground( torn rotator cuff/ disconnected bisep). Questioned and released. Nothing. But I forgot to renew license and I go to court in June. Arrest able offense. Let’s see what the judge does to a 71 year old man.

Psychology 101: if you don't discourage bad behavior, you're encouraging it.

In Japan the MINIMUM sentence for shoplifting is 2 years in prison for the first offence. Second offense is 10 years to life. Japan has almost zero shoplifting. I wonder why?

When they pass the immunity bill for thefts under $900, you know these things are going to happen. I don’t know what these judges thought, but one law destroyed the entire retail industry.

So the IRS crucifies me for $100 and does NOTHING to these scumbags?

The real victims are the employees of these places. Nice job Mayor Adams.

We have taught a whole generation that stealing is ok. Cashless bail, reducing charges, early release, and blaming someone else for your crimes. Yes, we have taught a whole generation the wrong things

This isn't a flaw in the plan, it is the plan.

The pixelated footage of the thieves is what's wrong with America.

The mayor and DA should be in prison for not doing their duty.

They are running out of places to rob when they have to go to Macy's.

Selling stolen goods on the sidewalk in front of the stores just adds insult to injury. 😮

Dear people it’s not the cops, it’s the District Attorney letting them go.

Not punishing burglars means the workers at the stores got punished by losing their jobs. That's messed up. 😡
