I like these types of debunking videos as a fairly new gardener. There are too many of these misinformation videos floating around out there, so it definitely helps us that are still learning! PS. Bought two of your Birdies beds that I will be officially planting in this year. I’m super excited! Thanks for all your info and dedication. 💜

After I watched this video, I planted an apple seed, and it miraculously turned into a giant plastic tree with glitter on it the next day.

I love that Jacques has been included in many videos. He brings in a different perspective and the two of you seem like such a strong team!

Great video! I've started apples from seed. I rinse the seeds, place them on a damp paper towel, put that in a zipper bag, and leave it in the fridge for a month or until I see growth. No, you might not get true to type or even edible apples, but what I got was a great pollinator for my nursery-purchased apple trees as well as a wonderful draw for all types of Bees. The blooms are amazing and they started when the tree was 4 years old. The bitter, little apples shrivel on the tree and then the cardinals and other wild birds eat them. I've planted several other apple seedlings around my yard to draw pollinators and feed wildlife.

Most of the tips are solutions for problems that don’t exist! Needed a great laugh today 😂😂😂

That bulb planter seems really useful if you have some sort of disabilty that would making digging the hole and filling it by hand difficult, or if you work in a garden centre and need to plant 2000 bulbs in a day so would benefit hugely from saving a few seconds per bulb.

I made the mistake once again this morning of watching some of that which is commonly called "the news."
So I felt compelled to share my deep appreciation of and gratitude for the Good medicine of your video.
THANK YOU! 😂👍❤🌱😁

The plant protection hack is pretty close to a good way of transporting houseplants when moving house etc. If you wrap the plant and pot in a cone of fairly stiff paper you can pack a whole load of them in an open top box and they should be fine in the back of a moving van.

Omg these two look and talk almost exactly like my eldest brother and his hubby… they’re such a fun dynamic duo and I could easily watch hours of them roasting “plant hack” videos together!🤣💗👍

What the guys didn't notice in the moss pole example was that the leaves rooted in the soil didn't seem to have any nodes on them. I wouldn't be surprised if they did the moss pole final shot backwards and just cut off the leaves/trimmed the plant downwards.

Ya know, you may have done this, but you should do a video on different grow kit companies and their difficulties/how well they grow, and just do a review and comparison! That would be so cool! Maybe do it from a beginner’s POV and someone who’s gardening in a budget? Maybe without a lot of time? Review the instructions? And price too?

This was so great! I’m sick and can’t be in my garden so here I am watching YouTube in bed in August and not only did I get a gardening fix but a good laugh with a bonus of the roast of a channel that my 8 year old daughter forces me to watch on occasion but thoroughly annoys me. Thank you so much! I needed this! 😂. Please roast them again 🙏🏻!

Thanks for an insanely funny video and the link for Jacques. I'm celebrating that the Texas electrical grid did not collapse this week after our freezing rain. Some of us have PTSD from last February. This year even my lettuce (covered) survived.
Mostly I'm focusing on a cutting garden this year, but my priority always is improving the soil. Jacques, as a geologist, will know the term caliche. I'm doing no dig and adding lots of compost to existing caliche. I follow you because you are soil guys at heart.
