I LOVED Illuminae and Gemina physically and audio at the same time. Absolutely incredible and that lollipop song is hysterical.

My favourite audiobooks right now are the Expanse series. The narrator does an AMAZING job with the sheer number of each character. Even when they haven't told you who's speaking, you can tell right away because of the way he does their voices. The books themselves are also just really, really good <3

For the most part I use audiobooks as a way of reading books I wouldn't otherwise get to, either because they're a new genre that I'm not sure about or just that they're very long. I also really enjoy listening to historical fiction novels that take place in other countries, having the narrator correctly pronounce foreign place names and words adds to the experience in a way I wouldn't otherwise get; I've ended up learning a fair few German and French words/phrase which is a fun bonus!

The audio book for Samantha Shannon's Bone Season is phenomenal. The narrator is perfect and it really helped to hear someone else pronouncing all of the new terminology. I don't think i would have appreciated the story as much if i had just trudged through it on my own.

Ah I loved the Gentleman’s Guide audiobook, the narration indeed added such wit to the story and it made me laugh out loud multiple times

I just listened to Matilda, narrated by Kate Winslet.  It is one of my new favorites -- Kate Winslet does different accents for each character.  It reignited my love for that story!

King killer chronicles is by far my absolute favorite and the audiobooks are fantastic!

Hi Caz! I’d like to try the wise man’s fear on audio since it’s a very intimidating book. But I agree that it’s a bit hard to grasp high fantasy on audio the first time :)

Here are my fave audiobooks:
1. The Martian by Andy Weir (hilarious narrator)
2. The Illuminae Files Trilogy (full cast and sound effects)
3. The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas (effective narration)
4. Echo by Pam Muñoz Ryan (harmonica music)
5. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo (it feels like Evelyn is talking to me)

I've listened to the full Throne of Glass series in audiobook form, and I have to say they're great, and the narrator is really good as well

My favorite audible narrator is MacLeod Andrews, he’s from my hometown and he has such a smooth and entertaining voice.

I have also listened to the Raven Boys Cycle quartet and loved it. My all time favorite audiobook, though, it the Diviners by Libba Bray. I have re-listened to the first 2 books almost 10 times, I think, and love what the narrator has done with all the characters. I am currently listening to the third and it's kinda creeping me out in a good way.

I’m re-reading Harry Potter via audible & oh it’s so wonderful.
I love listening to books, too, especially when I’m driving or walking. I typically listen to 1 a month. One of my favorites from last year is Look Behind You by Sibel Hodge. I’m not sure I would’ve liked it as much had it not been for the listening experience. The narrator was great & I really felt the suspense! Also The Martian was a wonderful audiobook. I’m not sure who the narrator is but he did a fantastic job! I had already seen the movie but really enjoyed the book & still got excited/anxious during certain parts even though I already knew what was going to happen. Great video idea!

Uprooted and the seven husbands of evelyn hugo are great audiobooks. I would highly recommend them.

For some reason I haven't fallen in love with audiobooks yet, I feel like I'm not busy enough to find them useful xD I don't drive etc... I just don't often find myself in a situation where I can't read a physical book. But the way you described them really intrigued me, sounds like a fun experience even if I'm just sitting down. Definitely going to give some of them a try !

I loved six of crows on audio book. it also didn't hurt that it was $5.00 when I bought it on Audible. I've recently began listening to audiobooks and I love them!
